Use it to replenish or mound up your pitch bowl, fill small vessels, or fill embossed cavities on the back of chased work. It is easiest to break it up with the pitch cold. Place upside down inside a plastic bag, and smash the bottom of the container using a swift hammer blow. Place the pieces where needed and warm with a heat gun until it becomes sticky, very soft and workable. Push it into place using a cold hammer face. Avoid heating until very runny or smoking. Use caution. Molten pitch will cause burns. Comes packed in two foil ramekins. Made by hand in the USA.
